How can you fix a TV that turns on but has a blank screen?
"No Display" issue on a Samsung TV refers to a problem where the television is not showing any picture or video. It might be caused by the power supply, an improper input or source selection, or a fault with the TV's internal hardware or software.
Check if the TV is on or off:
- Press the Home button on your remote.
- If the TV showed the menu, then the source is not correct or it is not receiving a signal.
- If the TV did not show anything, this might mean your TV is not ON and might not be working. Check the guide on TV not turning ON.
Samsung TV "No Display" issue:
This can be done by accessing the input or source menu on the TV's remote control and checking to see if the correct input is selected.
Unplug the TV from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for a few minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it on.
Make sure the external device (such as a cable box or a streaming device) is on and properly configured.
To start, make sure that the TV's source is still set to the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test and follow the below steps.
If the results of the test reveal that the cable is faulty, proceed to replace it with a new one. There is no need for service.
Note: Certain TV models do not have the test function, and some models have it after updating their software.
