How Do I Select Progressive Scan?

To turn progressive scan on or off, follow these steps:
- Turn on your Home Theater System (HTS).
- Make sure that the disk player on your HTS is off.
- Press the P.Scan/Tuner Memory button on your remote control and hold the button for more than five seconds. Each time you press and hold this button, you alternately select progressive scan or interlace scan. When you select progressive scan, P.Scan appears on the front panel display of the HTS.
Note: For progressive scan to work, you must connect your HTS to a TV's Component video inputs (Pr, Pb, and Y) and the TV's Component inputs must support progressive scan.
