How to pair a Galaxy Watch with your Samsung Galaxy device
The Galaxy Watch is designed to make life more convenient. It can analyse your health, monitor your exercise activity, play music, and make phone calls. Find out how to pair a Galaxy Watch to your Galaxy device.
Notes:
- Pairing methods and screens may vary depending on your Galaxy device and software version.
- When pairing a Galaxy Watch with your Galaxy device for the first time, the watch battery may drain more quickly due to syncing data, such as contacts.
- Supported mobile devices (carriers) and features may vary depending on your region and service provider.
Starting from the Galaxy Watch:
Step 1. Turn on the Galaxy Watch and select a language by scrolling through the options. You will be able to choose your language based on your country or region.
Step 2. Place the Galaxy Watch near your Galaxy phone.
Step 3. Tap Connect when a pop-up appears on your Galaxy phone indicating that a new device has been found.
Note: Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your Galaxy phone so that it can detect wearable devices nearby, including your Galaxy Watch.
Starting from the Galaxy phone:
Before connecting your Galaxy Watch to a new phone, be sure to back up your Galaxy Watch data to a safe place.
When a new Galaxy phone is connected, the Galaxy Watch will automatically recognise the new phone.
