How to wear your Samsung earbuds
In the past, you may have worn earbuds that either pinched your ears or were too loose. Both options are equally uncomfortable, whether you're out jogging or just listening to music. Thankfully, you'll never have those problems with your Samsung earbuds. If they don't fit right, you can simply swap the earbud tips and wingtips. If you wear your buds correctly, it will help ensure they remain comfortable while providing the best sound and call quality possible.
Caution: Do not insert the earbuds in your ears without earbud tips or wingtips because it may harm your ears. Do not pull the earbud tip or wingtip excessively because they may tear. If you experience ear pain or skin irritation at any time while using the earbuds or other in-ear devices, please stop using the device immediately and consult with your doctor.
Note: Charge your earbuds in their charging case prior to wearing them.
Before wearing your Galaxy Buds Pro, Buds2, or Buds2 Pro, make sure the earbud tips are attached. Wearing your earbuds properly will ensure they remain comfortable when you’re listening to your favorite content.
- Hold the earbud with the microphone and earbud tip facing downward, and the L or R on the top. Insert the earbud so it follows the direction of your ear canal.
Note: On the Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds2 Pro, the L and R will be located near the part that is being inserted.
- Put the earbud labeled L into your left ear and the earbud labeled R into your right ear for the best fit and sound quality.
- You can adjust the earbuds by rotating them to the left or right to fit your ears.
- If the earbud tips do not fit comfortably, you can try a different size to get a tighter seal. This will improve the microphone’s performance and provide a stronger sound.
- With the Buds2 and Buds2 Pro, you can use the Earbud fit test to make sure you’re wearing them correctly. From the Galaxy Wearable app, tap Earbuds settings, and then tap Earbud fit test. Put the earbuds in your ears and then tap Start to begin the test.
- Regularly clean your earbuds to keep them in the best condition possible, especially if you use them often.
- Remove the earbuds periodically and dry your ears to prevent excess moisture developing inside of the ear during use.
- The proximity sensor will automatically detect that you are wearing the earbuds when you put them on. Once this happens, they will turn on and emit a beep. If the proximity sensor does not make contact with your ear, the earbud may not work.
Note: Before using your earbuds for the first time, charge them in their charging case.
If your Galaxy Buds Live are loose or fit too far in your ear canal, you may experience poor audio, muffled sounds, or connection issues.
Make sure you are using the correct size wingtips for your ears, so you can comfortably listen to music.
- The Galaxy Buds Live come with small and large wingtips that can be swapped out whenever you need to adjust the fit. When inserting them, make sure the speakers are placed towards the bottom of your ears, so you get the best sound. The top of the earbud should be facing upward, not sideways.
- If the wingtips do not fit comfortably in your ear, try a different size.
