Remove the case or cover on the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold series
Removing the case incorrectly could result in the phone's coating being stripped or other types of damage. To ensure you are removing the case properly, please refer to the steps and precautions in this guide.
Note: The use of unauthorised cases, covers, and accessories may cause damage to the product. Samsung cannot guarantee a replacement if unauthorised cases, covers, or accessories are used.
When installing the cover (case, from now on referred to as the “product”), please note the following points to ensure a smooth installation.
- Remove foreign materials, such as dust and oils, from the mobile device before attaching the product. If you do not, the product may not stay attached properly.
- Be sure to peel off the protective paper attached to the product's adhesive pad before attaching the product.
- If the product becomes crooked after it is attached, detach it and then attach it again.
- Keep pressing down on the product with sufficient power to attach it firmly. The non-slip pad’s adhesive force becomes stronger over time. It is recommended to avoid using the mobile device for some time to let the non-slip pad stick tightly to the mobile device.
- For the Galaxy Z Fold cover (case), the adhesive side of the front left pad is relatively small, so applying strong force after attachment may cause the adhesive side to fall off.
* Please refer to the product’s provided manual for detailed instructions on how to attach the original cover.
* When the product is attached to your mobile device, the Wireless power sharing feature and Wireless charging may not work properly. It is recommended to remove the product before using these features.
* Detach the product to use the OTG (On-The-Go) adapter.
* When using a product with a ring or strap, be careful not to pull or shake the ring or strap excessively, as this may cause the product and strap to detach and the Galaxy device attached to the product to fall or break.
* Attaching or detaching the cover (case) with excessive force or in an incorrect manner may cause the coating to peel off and damage or break the product.
