When I try to set an account of a new Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account, it fails.

A : Please check that whether the account that you are using is supported in Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync (EAS). Note that the service for Gmail account has been stopped in Microsoft EAS.


Therefore, please use another mail account other than G mail for a new Microsoft EAS.
