• Service Policy / Warranty
 

Please read the following Product Warranty Terms and Conditions carefully before signing the service order receipt:
 

1. For handset and charger defects that occur under normal operating circumstances, subject to verification by Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited (hereinafter called the “Company”), free of charge repair service shall be provided by the Company within one (1) year commencing from the date of sales invoice. Valid Sales invoice must be issued by authorized resellers or affixed with model and serial number label printed by authorized distributors.
 

2. Subject to Clause 12 hereunder, handset battery is warranted for one (1) year from the date of sales invoice.
 

3. Built-in handsfree ear microphone is warranted for three (3) months from the date of sales invoice.
 

4. This warranty shall not apply and the repair charges shall be separately quoted by the Company in the event of:
 

(a) any willful modification, alteration or repair in any way made to any part of the product by any persons other than the Company; or
 

(b) any damage caused by misuse, misapplication of electricity, malicious acts, negligence, inflow of any liquid or dirt, accident, natural calamities, or physical force.
 

5. All changed parts are non-returnable.
 

6. For handsets with invisible defects, if customers request to collect their handsets after inspection and a repair quotation is delivered, the Company may not be able to restore the handsets back to the original defective status (including but not limited to handset frame, function and original defects).
 

7. Unless otherwise stipulated, this Warranty Card is only valid for product purchased in Hong Kong SAR or Macau SAR and any warranty shall only be applied in its respective region.
 

8. Please keep this Warranty Card in proper condition. Customers are required to present this Warranty Card and the original sales invoice to the Company upon request for warranty service.
 

9. Data stored in the handsets may be lost after the inspection and / or repair and thus should be properly backed up by the customers beforehand. The Company shall not be responsible for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits and/or loss of data as a result of provision of repair service.
 

10. Any alteration to this Warranty Card renders it invalid.
 

11. The Company reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to use any refurbished (instead of brand-new) components in providing the repair service and charge the customers corresponding component fees according to the quotation.
 

12. The warranty does not cover consumable parts, including but not limited to battery, that can be diminished over time, unless failure has occurred due to defects in materials or workmanship.

Due to the close trade developments and collaborations across Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, Mainland China warranty service for Hong Kong/Macau Genuine Samsung Smartphone has been launched for Samsung users to enjoy comprehensive after-sales services. Users of Hong Kong/Macau Genuine Samsung Smartphone can now enjoy a one-year warranty service at Samsung-authorized service centres located in the key cities in Mainland China. With this initiative, Samsung users commuting between Mainland China and Hong Kong or between Mainland China and Macau can also enjoy after-sales services in Mainland China with greater convenience.

• Warranty terms and conditions for Hong Kong/ Macau Genuine Samsung Smartphone in Mainland China:
  

1. Any Hong Kong/ Macau Genuine Samsung Smartphone, mobile tablet, watch or Galaxy Buds are eligible for local warranty service from the place of purchase, plus a one-year warranty service (warranty period is counted from date of purchase printed on sales invoice) at designated service centres in Mainland China ("Mainland China Designated Service Centres"), by presenting the original sales invoice issued by authorized dealers and warranty certificate (customer copy). This service does not cover product returns or inbox accessory (travel adapter and phone case) replacements. Users may contact Customer Service Centres of the place of purchase (Hong Kong or Macau) for such service.

2. Repair service for Hong Kong/ Macau Genuine Samsung Smartphone at the Mainland China Designated Service Centres is provided subject to Samsung’s after-sales service policies in Mainland China (For further details, please visit http://www.samsung.com/cn/support/warranty/warrantyinformation1.html). For Hong Kong/ Macau Genuine Samsung Smartphone with expired warranty or damage caused by human factors or if the user of which is found violated any Repair Service or Warranty Terms and Conditions applicable in Hong Kong or Macau, such smartphones are not eligible for warranty coverage in Mainland China, in which case any repair expenses shall be borne by the users.
 

3. Given models variance between smartphones sold in Mainland China and Hong Kong/ Macau, Hong Kong/ Macau Genuine Samsung Smartphone may require a longer repair period in Mainland China Designated Service Centres for warranty service. In the event of dispute, Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited reserves the right of final decision.
 

4. ‘Repair, Replacement and Refund Service Guarantees’ for mobile phones purchased in Mainland China is not applicable to Hong Kong/ Macau Genuine Samsung Smartphones.
 

5. Save and except for the warranty service terms and conditions contained herein, the existing Product Warranty Terms and Conditions applicable to the products in Hong Kong and Macau remain unchanged, until further notification.
 

6. These warranty service terms and conditions are enforced under the principle of non-infringement or non-violation of laws and regulations of China, Hong Kong or Macau. If any provision or a portion of these terms and conditions are unlawful or cannot be enforced, the said portion of the terms and conditions shall be rendered void. No person shall pursue any claim and/or action of any kind against Samsung Electronics H.K. Co., Limited or its affiliates based on such a reason.
 

7. ‘Mainland China’ does not include Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan
 

8. Should there be any inconsistency between Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.

Smartphones & Mobile Tablets Extended Warranty Plan
 

• Terms and Conditions
 

This Samsung Extended Warranty Plan (the "Plan") extends the original manufacturer's warranty on Smartphones & Mobile Tablets (the "Product") for a fixed period of one (1) year. The Plan commences on the day after the expiry date of the original manufacturer's warranty and it covers repairs or replacement (as appropriate) of any defective part of the Product , subject to the terms and conditions contained in the original manufacturer's warranty and the terms and conditions contained herein. 
 

The Plan is subject to the following terms and conditions:
 

1. The Plan may be purchased at any time prior to the expiry of the original manufacturer's warranty (up until a maximum of 12 months) accompanying the purchased Product. Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited may remove any Product from being eligible to purchase the Plan at any time prior to purchase as it determines in its sole discretion without prior notice. The Plan cannot be purchased for commercial Product and/or commercial use.
 

2. The Plan does not cover wear and tear, defects or damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, unusual physical damage, liquid damage, cosmetic damage, or unauthorized modification of the Product, including any change or enhancement in colour, texture or finish.
 

3. The Plan does not cover in-box accessories or additional accessories purchased , including but not limited to batteries, chargers, USB cables, S Pen, SD Card, adapters, Bluetooth device, battery cover, face plates, screen protectors, personalized data, customized software, ringtones, games, screen savers, add-on devices, ancillary/peripheral equipment, setup or installation, adjustments to the antenna system, cleaning of components or routine maintenance or damage or loss caused by the use of the foregoing.
 

4. The Plan does not cover failure of the Product due to computer viruses or similar unauthorized intrusive codes or programming.
 

5. Under no circumstance shall Samsung Electronics H.K. Company Limited or its affiliates, or any of their employees, agents, service providers, suppliers, sub-contractors, directors, officers or shareholders be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of business, caused by the failure of the Product, loss of use of the Product or the repair, faulty repair or replacement of the Product, even if such loss or damage are attributable to or caused by the fault or negligence of Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited or its affiliates or any of their employees, agents, service providers, suppliers or subcontractors.
 

6. Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited's liability under the Plan is limited to the greater of the cost of the necessary repairs or the replacement cost of the Product.
 

7. Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited's obligations under the Plan are continued if a replacement of Product is issued when deemed necessary by Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited and the Plan will continue to be in effect upon such replacement until the expiry date of warranty under the Plan.
 

8. If no claims are made under the Plan during the extended warranty period, the purchase price paid for the Plan is not refundable, except as may otherwise be stated in the Plan.
 

9. This Plan is valid in Hong Kong or Macau and applicable to the purchase of genuine products from Hong Kong or Macau authorized dealers, and shall only be applied in its respective region.
 

10. Except as modified herein, the terms and conditions contained in the original manufacturer’s warranty shall apply to the Plan. Please visit http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/support/warranty/ for the Warranty Information.
 

11. No cancellation or refund is available.
 

12. CLAIM PROCEDURE
 

Original sales invoice issued by Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited's authorized dealers (List of authorized dealers: http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/retailer-list/ ) and extend warranty certificate (or any other acknowledged document) are required to verify the Plan coverage and eligibility before any warranty service can be offered. The Plan is administered and provided by Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited.

 

Repair Service Terms and Conditions
 

• Terms and Conditions
 

1. During the warranty period, the free-of-charge repair service for official products of Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited (“Samsung” or “Repair Service Centre”) being sold in Hong Kong market shall be offered subject to these Repair Service Terms and Conditions and any other relevant warranty terms and conditions.
 

2. During the warranty period, no free of charge repair service shall be provided in the event of violation of any Repair Service Terms and Conditions . In this case repair charges shall be separately quoted by the Repair Service Centre or no repair service will be provided. Any self repairs, damage done to the product or its accessories due to exposure to water, damage caused by misuse, use in violation of instructions and alternation shall be considered as a violation of Repair Service Terms and Conditions.
 

3. In addition to the necessary spare parts charges, a non-refundable service fee will be imposed in advance to all non-official products (i.e. parallel imports), out-of-warranty products, products with broken or missing warranty label or where any violation of Repair Service Terms and Conditions being occurred. Repair Service Centre will inform the customer of an official quotation by phone or email in due course. All costs, fees and/or charges must be paid in full by cash or credit card.
 

4. Customer can enjoy warranty service provided that the products are purchased from authorized dealers **** and customers are required to present the original sales invoice, which shall contain the full name of the dealer, date of purchase, invoice number, product model number, serial number (only applicable to mobile phones), product price and dealer’s company chop. For handwritten invoices, serial number tag attached to the product package shall be provided.
 

5. If the customer fails to present the original sales invoice, the products will be treated as non-warranty products.
 

6. All parts changed by Repair Service Centre shall be covered by a free one-month warranty service from the date when the repairs are completed (limited to same defect which is not caused by human factors).
 

7. All changed parts are non-returnable.
 

8. Repair Service Centre is not responsible for the custody of any product accessories, including but not limited to screen protector, battery, SIM card, SD card.
 

9. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible for any delay caused by the failure of communication with the customers. Customers are advised to provide Repair Service Centre with valid contact number(s) or email address. If customers do not receive any pick up notification one (1) week after the drop off date, please contact Repair Service Centre by phone.
 

10. Customers shall collect their product(s) within three (3) months after receipt of pick up notification from Repair Service Centre. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to such products that left unclaimed after three (3) months. If the products are not collected within six (6) months, Repair Service Centre shall have the right to dispose of the products at its own discretion without any prior notice and compensation.
 

11. The service order receipt should be kept as proof for collection of products. In the case of loss of receipt and products being taken by others, Repair Service Centre shall not be held responsible. If no original receipt is provided, Repair Service Centre shall have the right to refuse to return the products.
 

12. For products with invisible defects, if customers request for return of their products after inspection and a repair quotation is delivered, Repair Service Centre may not be able to restore the products back to the original defective status (including but not limited to product frame, function and original defects).
 

13. For products not covered by warranty, if customers are found to have violated any Repair Service Terms and Conditions ( including but not limited to self-repairs, exposure to water, damage caused by misuse), Repair Service Centre shall have the right to cancel any fixed repair service charge quotation and separate quotation based on actual defects shall be applied.
 

14. Repair Service Centre shall have the right to reject any request for written or verbal report in relation to the repair services or the defects of the products.
 

15. The repair service of Repair Service Centre only applies to the hardware of the product(s). Accessories such as earphones, connecting cables, compact discs and DVDs, etc are not applicable, unless otherwise stipulated
 

16. All data stored in electronics products (included but not limited to handsets, mobile tablets, digital cameras, MP3 players and notebook PCs) may be lost or deleted after the repair. Such data includes, but not limited to, Phone Book, SMS, MMS, Photo, Downloaded Ring Tone, Calendar, To Do List. Before delivering any product to Repair Service Centre for repair service, customers should at their own costs (if any) create and keep by themselves a separate backup copy of customers’ data or information stored in the product(s) and disable any security passwords. Customers acknowledge and agree that data or information may be altered or deleted from the product(s) during repairs to which customers do not have any objection. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible or liable for any data stored on the product(s) that is lost, altered, deleted, or is otherwise inaccessible after repair.
 

17. Customers acknowledge and do not have any objection to the fact that Repair Service Centre does not warrant any uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product(s), and is not under any obligation to support the product(s) for all operating environment, including but not limited to, compatibility with all current and/or future versions of software or hardware, after the repairs.
 

18. The limited warranty does not apply to any non-Samsung hardware products, software and accessories.
 

19. Samsung reserves the right to interpret any terms and conditions set forth above in its sole and absolute discretion.
 

20. Should there be any inconsistency between Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.

     An accidental Inner screen damage coverage of Samsung Galaxy Fold owned by individual subscribers who completed the designated product registration process for your Samsung Galaxy Fold. Customer just has to visit a Samsung Electronics HK Company Limited authorized repair centre and pay the service fee will be able to enjoy the service.
 

2.     Maximum Indemnity Limit and Service Fee
 

Replacement Cost of Inner Screen upto HK$4,480 subject to HK$1,200 service fee
 

3.     Coverage Period
 

      Tokio Marine cover “One time” replacement of accidental Inner screen damage of Samsung Galaxy Fold for a length of 12 months from the date of purchase.
 

4.     Coverage Territory
 

           Tokio Marine insure the Covered Property wherever it is located in Hong Kong SAR
 

B. MAJOR EXCLUSIONS
 

1. We will not replace Inner Screen of any cosmetic damage, however caused, that does not affect the manufacturer’s intended use of Samsung Galaxy Fold.
 

This includes, but is not limited to:
 

i)                 Cracking, marring, scratching or warping
 

ii)                Change in color or other change in the exterior finish
 

iii)              Water(Liquid) damage
 

      2. This Insurance does not apply to loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by any of the following:
 

      a. Nuclear Hazard
 

          Nuclear reaction or radiation, or radioactive contamination, however caused. If physical loss or damage by fire ensues, we will pay only for such ensuing loss or damage.
 

      b. War
 

          (i) War including undeclared or civil war;
 

          (ii) Warlike action by a military force; or
 

          (iii) Insurrection, rebellion, revolution, usurped power or action taken by governmental authority in hindering or defending against any of these.
 

    c. Strike, lock-out, riot, civil commotion or terrorist attacks
 

    d. Dishonest, Intentional, or Criminal Acts

        Dishonest, intentional or criminal acts by individual subscribers or by any person entrusted with Covered Property, whether acting alone or in collusion with others, with respect to his or her coverage
 

  e. Wear, Deterioration, Latent Defect
 

         (i) Wear and tear, deterioration; or
 

         (ii) Hidden or latent defect, including equipment design defect, or any quality in the property that causes it to damage or destroy itself.

        f. Willful Acts
 

          Willful act on the part of the individual subscribers or one of his representatives
 

 C. INDIVIDUAL SUBSCRIBERS' DUTIES IN EVENT OF LOSS
 

    In the event of loss or damage to Covered Property, the individual subscribers and his or her designee requesting the repairing service must cooperate with us and see that the following are done;
 

    1. Notify Authorized Repair Center
 

       Upon discovery of loss, notify the Authorized Repair Center within 30 Days subject to 12 months protection from the date of purchase
 

       (a) How, when and where the loss or damage occurred.
 

       (b)The individual subscribers must provide other information and records, such as a bill of sale; as requested.
 

    2. Protect
 

       Take all reasonable steps to protect the Covered Property from further damage.
 

D. OUR DUTY IN EVENT OF LOSS
 

           Claim Authorization and Loss Payment
 

           If an accidental inner screen damage claims is made, Tokio Marine will make loss payment to the Samsung Electronics H.K. Company Limited directly

This cover is automatically provided to your Samsung Galaxy Fold by Tokio Marine once you completed the registration procedure of your Samsung Galaxy Fold. Under no circumstance shall Samsung Electronics Hong Kong Company Limited or its affiliates, or any of their employees, agents, service providers, suppliers, sub-contractors, directors, officers or shareholders be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of business, caused by the failure of the Product, loss of use of the Product or the repair, faulty repair or replacement of the Product, even if such loss or damage are attributable to or caused by the fault or negligence of Samsung Electronics H.K. Company Limited or its affiliates or any of their employees, agents, service providers, suppliers or subcontractors.

4. Coverage Territory

(ii) Hidden or latent defect, including equipment design defect, or any quality in the property that causes it to damage or destroy itself.
 

f. Willful Acts
 

Willful act on the part of the individual subscribers or one of his r epresentatives
 

C. YOUR DUTIES IN EVENT OF LOSS
 

In the event of loss or damage to Covered Property, the Customer and his or her designee requesting the repairing service must cooperate with us and see that the following are done;
 

1. Notify Authorized Repair Center
 

Upon discovery of loss, notify the Authorized Repair Center within 14 Days subject to 12months protection from the date of purchase

Company Limited or its affiliates or any of their employees, agents, service providers, suppliers or subcontractors.

• Terms and Conditions
 

A. COVERAGE
 

The Tokio Marine and Fire Insurance Co. (HK) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Tokio Marine) will repair or replace Covered Property that has incurred direct physical loss or direct physical damage caused by or resulting from any covered cause of loss during coverage period.
 

1. Covered Property
 

An accidental Inner screen damage coverage of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Customer just has to visit a Samsung Electronics HK Company Limited authorized repair centre and pay the service fee will be able to enjoy the service.
 

2. Maximum Indemnity Limit and Service Fee
 

Replacement Cost of Inner Screen upto HK$4,300 subject to HK$1,040 service fee
 

3. Coverage Period
 

Tokio Marine cover “One time” replacement of accidental Inner screen damage of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G for a length of 12 months from the date of purchase.
 

4. Coverage Territory
 

Tokio Marine insure the Covered Property wherever it is located in Hong Kong SAR
 

B. MAJOR EXCLUSIONS
 

1. We will not replace Inner Screen of any cosmetic damage, however caused, that does not affect the manufacturer’s intended use of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
 

This includes, but is not limited to:
 

i) Cracking, marring, scratching or warping
 

ii) Change in color or other change in the exterior finish
 

iii) Water(Liquid) damage
 

2. This Insurance does not apply to loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by any of the following
 

a . Nuclear Hazard

Pick-up and Return Delivery Service Terms and Conditions
 

1. This “Pick-up and Return Delivery Service” offers to Samsung customers an opportunity to get a one-time free of charge
 

(i) pickup; and
 

(ii) return delivery services (collectively the “Delivery Service”)for certain Samsung products confined to smartphones (HHP) and mobile tablets  (“Product(s)”) for the purpose of Product(s) repair service during the warranty period.
 

2. The "Delivery Service" is that after customer has bought the Product(s) (limited to the purchase of Samsung genuine smartphones and tablets in Hong Kong) and during the warranty period (i.e. 12 months as of date of purchase), if any product quality problem occurs, you can call the Samsung customer service hotline 3698-4698 to apply for the Delivery Service. The customer must firstly provide the purchase invoice copy (must be an electronic print version) to Samsung authorized service center together with the Product(s) or send to Samsung hotline service by email in advance.  After the application is accepted, Samsung authorized service center or courier service provider will contact the customer by SMS or phone call to make arrangement for the Delivery Service. Subject to availabilities, the Delivery Service will be arranged within the next one to two working days.
 

3. This Delivery Service is only applicable to (i) the repair service of the Product(s) during the warranty period of the Product(s), and (ii) Hong Kong region (except all restricted and/or remote areas such as Lamma / Lantau areas, e.g. Tai O, Mui Wo, Ma Wan & Discovery bay, etc.).
 

4. The customers must provide Samsung with the contact person's name, contact phone number, delivery address for the purpose of the Delivery Service and the Product's IMEI / SN number for the purpose of checking the Product’s warranty status.
 

5. This Delivery Service is only applicable to the Products purchased from Samsung authorized retailers in Hong Kong. If customers have any questions, please visit http://www.samsung.com/hk/retailer -list / or you can call Samsung customer service hotline 3698-4698 for further inquiry.
 

6. If any product quality problem occurs beyond the warranty period or is caused due to human damage, Samsung authorized service center will contact the customer for a quotation repair.
 

7. Due to the possibility of loss of stored data during the testing and repairing processes, customers are strongly recommended to back up and/or delete the data in the Product(s), SD card, and SIM card in advance, and clear the phone power-on password at the same time before the Delivery Service is provided. Samsung authorized service center or courier service provider has no obligations to back-up and/or delete the data on behalf of customers. If the customer does not follow the prompts to make relevant backups and/or deletion, Samsung will not be responsible for the damage or loss of the data and information in the Product(s), SD card, or SIM card.
 

8. You acknowledge and agree that this Delivery Service is provided by Samsung (and/or its authorized service center or courier service provider) on a complementary basis and is subjected to the below “Limitation of Liability” clause.
 

Termination and change
 

When laws have been formulated or revised, relevant departments have issued binding regulations, and Samsung's business direction has been adjusted, etc., leading to having to terminate and change this service, Samsung will notify users through business announcements, text messages, and other forms.
 

According to the changes in local laws and regulations and the needs of business operations, Samsung has the right to modify this agreement from time to time and replace the original agreement. Users can log in to check the latest agreement at any time; users are obliged to pay attention to and read the latest version of the agreement and website announcement from time to time. If the user does not agree with the updated agreement, they should immediately stop accepting the service; if the user continues to use it, it is deemed to agree to the updated agreement.
 

Limitation of Liability
 

Samsung shall not be liable for any loss of profit or revenue, loss of contracts or any indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive loss or damages arising out of or in connection with provision of services under this Policy (including but without limitation the Repair Service, Delivery Service), whether in contract, tort or otherwise, even if Samsung has been informed of the possibility of such damage.
 

In any case, Samsung’s total liability under this Policy shall not exceed the total service fee obtained by Samsung for providing the various services under this Policy.
 

Others
 

In the process of performing this Policy, you shall comply with all applicable laws.  In the event of any violation of laws and/or infringement upon legitimate rights of Samsung and/or any third parties, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samsung and/or the third parties of any loss or damage incurred by it.
 

If part of the content of this agreement is deemed invalid for any reason, this invalid clause shall not affect the validity of other clauses.
 

Samsung has the right to transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.
 

All the titles of this agreement are set for the convenience of reading, and do not affect the meaning or interpretation of any part of this service agreement.

Overseas Product
 

Product that is not a genuine product of Hong Kong (such as personal carry-on, direct purchase from overseas) can be repaired in Samsung Customer Services Center in Hong Kong with cost, if it is repairable.
  

1) Repair will incur costs/expenses and take more time than repairing of genuine Hong Kong products.

     -  Repair costs/expenses and estimated repair time will be offered at the Samsung Customer Service Centers.
 

2) Product is subject to inspecting to verify whether it is repairable.

    - Product is not repairable in cases of large-sized parts (such as TV panel, refrigerator door, etc.) or parts are not available (such as end of production, etc.)
 

 The product that is not currently sold in Hong Kong may not be repaired if -
 

1) There is significant distinction from the Hong Kong model in product specifications
 

2) There is lack of repairing supporting conditions such as bandwidth, voltage, etc.

Television & AV

 

• Service Policy / Warranty

 

1. For any defect, in the judgment of our technicians, caused under normal usage, SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS H.K. COMPANY LIMITED (hereinafter known as the “Company”) is responsible for repairing and replacing parts free of charge within the warranty period (except accessories and certain parts), commencing from the date of purchase. Any replaced defective parts will become the Company's property.
 

2. The warranty periods of specific products are as follows :
 

(a) Television: Full warranty covers 3 years.
 

(b) Blu-ray player: Full warranty covers 1 year. The laser pick up is warranted for 6 months.
 

(c) Home theater: Full warranty covers 1 year. The laser pick up is warranted for 6 months.
 

(d) 3D Glasses: Full warranty covers 1 year.
 

3. Free warranty service does not cover the following items :
 

(a) Renewal and replacement of cabinet, chassis, front panel, cosmetic items and accessories.
 

(b) Dismantling, removal and re-installation of any repairing product installed at a location higher than 7 ft. (from the floor), or at any difficult working place.
 

(c) Re-installation, removal, relocation or transportation of the product.
 

4. The company will not be liable for any problem, damage or loss due to improper installation not installed by our company.
 

5. This warranty is invalid in the following cases :
 

(a) If the product has been damaged out of misuse, negligence, accident and natural disaster.
 

(b) If the product has been repaired, modified by persons other than SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS HK CO. LTD.
 

(c) If the serial number has been altered, effaced and/or removed.
 

(d) The product is not according to the official instructions provided by the installation.
 

(e) Machines for commercial use.
 

(f) If the product is mounted with non-original wall-mount.
 

6. The Company will not be liable for any loss directly or indirectly caused from breakdown of the equipment.
 

7. For small or portable appliance, customer will be required to bring the product to and from our service centre whenever service is required.
 

8. Unless otherwise stipulated, this Warranty Card is valid only for products purchased in Hong Kong or Macau. This warranty services provided in Hong Kong are not applicable to Macau and vice versa.
 

9. For remote areas service, travelling fee will be charged and customer will be charged and in the case workshop service is needed, customer will be responsible for the back and forth of the products to and from our service centre.
 

10. Please keep and present this warranty card together with the official purchase invoice to our technicians for inspection during each service.
 

11. If no elevator services is available for premises which Samsung deliver on-site services, Samsung may impose charges for colleting and delivery the products to and from Samsung’s repair centre for inspection or repair service at the prevailing rate.
 

12. Samsung reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to use any refurbished (instead of brand-new) components for providing warranty, repairing and maintenance services and charge Samsung's customers such component fees (with prior quotation).
 

13. Company accepts goods exchange for more than three dead pixels found on the LED TV / LCD TV / OLED TV panel within seven days from date of purchase, while company also accepts goods exchange for more than five dead pixels found on the 75" or above TV panel within seven days from date of purchase. In case of any disputes. Company reserves the right to make the final decision.

 

Projector (SP-LSP9TJAXZK)

• Service Policy / Warranty

1.       Samsung Electronics H. K. Company, Limited (hereinafter called Samsung) provides three years on-site warranty for this Product commencing from the date of purchase.

2.       Proof of purchase, including this Warranty Card and the original purchase receipt, shall be provided upon request for service.

3.       Within the warranty period, Samsung will repair or replace parts that are damaged under normal use (by the judgment of Samsung) at no additional charge.

4.       All the replaced parts will become the property of Samsung.

5.       This Warranty Card will be automatically void under below circumstances:

a.        Any unauthorized repair or modification has been carried out on this Product, or

b.       It has been damaged through misuse, negligence accident, or natural calamities, or

c.        It has been installed, maintained or operated other than in accordance with the instructions furnished by Samsung.

6.       Under no circumstances will Samsung be liable for any consequential damages caused in relation to the use of this Product.

Repair Service Terms and Conditions

 

• Terms and Conditions

1. During the warranty period, the free-of-charge repair service for official products of Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited (“Samsung” or “Repair Service Centre”) being sold in Hong Kong market shall be offered subject to these Repair Service Terms and Conditions and any other relevant warranty terms and conditions. 
 

2. During the warranty period, no free of charge repair service shall be provided in the event of violation of any Repair Service Terms and Conditions . In this case repair charges shall be separately quoted by the Repair Service Centre or no repair service will be provided. Any self repairs, damage done to the product or its accessories due to exposure to water, damage caused by misuse, use in violation of instructions and alternation shall be considered as a violation of Repair Service Terms and Conditions.
 

3. In addition to the necessary spare parts charges, a non-refundable service fee will be imposed in advance to all non-official products (i.e. parallel imports), out-of-warranty products, products with broken or missing warranty label or where any violation of Repair Service Terms and Conditions being occurred. Repair Service Centre will inform the customer of an official quotation by phone or email in due course. All costs, fees and/or charges must be paid in full by cash or credit card.
 

4. Customer can enjoy warranty service provided that the products are purchased from authorized dealers **** and customers are required to present the original sales invoice, which shall contain the full name of the dealer, date of purchase, invoice number, product model number, serial number (only applicable to mobile phones), product price and dealer’s company chop. For handwritten invoices, serial number tag attached to the product package shall be provided.
 

5. If the customer fails to present the original sales invoice, the products will be treated as non-warranty products.
 

6. All parts changed by Repair Service Centre shall be covered by a free one-month warranty service from the date when the repairs are completed (limited to same defect which is not caused by human factors).
 

7. All changed parts are non-returnable.
 

8. Repair Service Centre is not responsible for the custody of any product accessories, including but not limited to screen protector, battery, SIM card, SD card.
 

9. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible for any delay caused by the failure of communication with the customers. Customers are advised to provide Repair Service Centre with valid contact number(s) or email address. If customers do not receive any pick up notification one (1) week after the drop off date, please contact Repair Service Centre by phone.
 

10. Customers shall collect their product(s) within three (3) months after receipt of pick up notification from Repair Service Centre. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to such products that left unclaimed after three (3) months. If the products are not collected within six (6) months, Repair Service Centre shall have the right to dispose of the products at its own discretion without any prior notice and compensation.
 

11. The service order receipt should be kept as proof for collection of products. In the case of loss of receipt and products being taken by others, Repair Service Centre shall not be held responsible. If no original receipt is provided, Repair Service Centre shall have the right to refuse to return the products.
 

12. For products with invisible defects, if customers request for return of their products after inspection and a repair quotation is delivered, Repair Service Centre may not be able to restore the products back to the original defective status (including but not limited to product frame, function and original defects).
 

13. For products not covered by warranty, if customers are found to have violated any Repair Service Terms and Conditions ( including but not limited to self-repairs, exposure to water, damage caused by misuse), Repair Service Centre shall have the right to cancel any fixed repair service charge quotation and separate quotation based on actual defects shall be applied.
 

14. Repair Service Centre shall have the right to reject any request for written or verbal report in relation to the repair services or the defects of the products.
 

15. The repair service of Repair Service Centre only applies to the hardware of the product(s). Accessories such as earphones, connecting cables, compact discs and DVDs, etc are not applicable, unless otherwise stipulated.
 

16. All data stored in electronics products (included but not limited to handsets, mobile tablets, digital cameras, MP3 players and notebook PCs) may be lost or deleted after the repair. Such data includes, but not limited to, Phone Book, SMS, MMS, Photo, Downloaded Ring Tone, Calendar, To Do List. Before delivering any product to Repair Service Centre for repair service, customers should at their own costs (if any) create and keep by themselves a separate backup copy of customers’ data or information stored in the product(s) and disable any security passwords. Customers acknowledge and agree that data or information may be altered or deleted from the product(s) during repairs to which customers do not have any objection. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible or liable for any data stored on the product(s) that is lost, altered, deleted, or is otherwise inaccessible after repair.
 

17. Customers acknowledge and do not have any objection to the fact that Repair Service Centre does not warrant any uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product(s), and is not under any obligation to support the product(s) for all operating environment, including but not limited to, compatibility with all current and/or future versions of software or hardware, after the repairs.
 

18. The limited warranty does not apply to any non-Samsung hardware products, software and accessories.
 

19. Samsung reserves the right to interpret any terms and conditions set forth above in its sole and absolute discretion.
 

20. Should there be any inconsistency between Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.

COMPANY LIMITED (hereinafter known as the “Company”) is responsible for repairing and replacing parts free of charge within the warranty period (except accessories and certain parts), commencing from the date of purchase. Any replaced defective parts will become the Company's property. The warranty periods of specific products are as follows:

(a)          Refrigerator: Full warranty covers 3 years.


(b)          Washing machine: Full warranty covers 2 years.


(c)          Vacuum cleaner: Full warranty covers 1 year.
               except VS15T70*, VS20T75* and VS20A95* with 2 year warranty

(d)          Dehumidifier: Full warranty covers 2 years.

(2)          The warranty periods for compressor and inverter compressor of refrigerator, motor and digital inverter motor of washing machine, battery and digital inverter motor of vacuum cleaner are as below:

(a)          5 years for compressor of refrigerator. In the 4th and the 5th year of the warranty period, compressor can be replaced for free, however, fees for inspection, labour, reinstalling of refrigerant,  replacement of other parts, delivery will be charged according to the relevant terms.

(b)          10 year warranty for inverter compressor of refrigerator, except specific models with 20 year warranty. From the 4th to the 20th year of the warranty period, inverter compressor can be replaced for free, however, fees for inspection, labour, reinstalling of refrigerant, replacement of other parts, delivery will be charged according to the relevant terms.

(c)          2 years for normal motor and 10 years for digital inverter motor of washing machine, except specific models with 20 year warranty. From the 3rd to the 20th year of the warranty period, digital inverter washing motor can be replaced for free, however, fees for inspection, labour, replacement of other parts, delivery will be charged according to the relevant terms.

(d)         1 year for battery of vacuum cleaner. 2 years for battery of Jet Bot and BESPOKE Jet series. 10 years for digital inverter motor of Jet Bot series, Jet and BESPOKE Jet series. For the extended warranty period on parts, battery and digital inverter motor can be replaced for free, however, fees for inspection, labour, replacement of other parts, delivery will be charged according to the relevant terms.

(3)        Free warranty service does not cover the following items :

(a)          Water pipe or hose extension and replacement of faucet of washing machine.


(b)          Renewal and replacement of cabinet, chassis, front panel, cosmetic items and accessories.


(c)          Dismantling, removal and re-installation of any repairing product installed at a location higher than 7 ft. (from the floor), or at any difficult working place.


(d)          Re-installation, removal, relocation or transportation of the product.


(e)          Due to foreign objects (Such as coins, keys or cotton swabs, etc.) caused by the product generates a strange noise in the use of or inability to drain properly.


(f)           All decontamination, pest and mold in addition to services,

Example for the above cases is not within the coverage of warranty and related to inspection and cleaning fees will be responsible by the customer.

(4)          The company will not be liable for any problem, damage or loss due to improper installation not installed by our company.

(5)          This warranty is invalid in the following cases :


(a)          If the product has been damaged out of misuse, negligence, accident and natural disaster.


(b)          If the product has been repaired, modified by persons other than company.


(c)          If the serial number has been altered, effaced and/or removed.


(d)          The product is not according to the official instructions provided by the installation.


(e)          Machines for commercial use.


(f)           Due to foreign objects (such as coins, keys or cotton swabs, etc.) caused by mechanical damage.

(6)          The Company will not be liable for any loss directly or indirectly caused from breakdown of the equipment.

(7)          Samsung reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to use any refurbished (instead of brand-new) components for providing warranty, repairing and maintenance services and charge Samsung's customers such component fees (with prior quotation).

(8)          For small or portable appliance, customer will be required to bring the product to and from our service centre whenever service is required.

(9)          Unless otherwise stipulated, this Warranty Card is valid only for products purchased in Hong Kong or Macau. The warranty services provided in Hong Kong are not applicable to Macau and vice versa.

(10)        If no elevator services is available for premises which Samsung deliver on-site services, Samsung may impose charges for collecting and delivery the products to and from Samsung’s repair centre for inspection or repair service at the prevailing rate.

(11)        For remote areas service, travelling fee will be charged and customer will be charged and in the case workshop service is needed, customer will be responsible for the back and forth of the products to and from our service centre.

(12)        Please keep and present this warranty card together with the official purchase invoice to our technicians for inspection during each service.

(13)        In the case of any disputes, Samsung reserves all rights for final judgement.

(14)        This warranty terms and conditions have been translated into Chinese. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English and Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.

Other Terms may be subject to change from time to time. In case of any inconsistency and conflict between the terns hereof and the Other terms, the Other Terms shall prevail.

Air Dresser

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(1)        The warranty period for Samsung AirDresser (“Product”) is two (2) years, starting from the date of purchase.

Within the warranty period, if any damage or malfunction of the Product (except shell, accessories and some parts) occurs during the course of normal usage (which should be verified by Samsung technicians), Samsung Electronics Hong Kong Company, Limited ("Samsung") will be responsible for repairing or replacing free of charge. The replaced parts will be owned by Samsung.

(2)        The free warranty service does not cover the following items:

(a)     Renewal and replacement of cabinet, chassis, front panel, cosmetic items and/or accessories.

(b)     Dismantling, removal and re-installation of any repairing product installed at any difficult working place.

(c)     Re-installation, removal, relocation or transportation of the Product.

(d)     Cleaning or Sanitizing of Product

Example for the above cases is not within the coverage of warranty and related to inspection and cleaning fees will be responsible by the customer.

(3)        Samsung will not be liable for any problem, damage or loss caused by improper installation of the Product.

(4)        This warranty will become invalid under the following circumstances:

(a)     If the Product is damaged due to misuse, negligence, accident or natural disaster, etc.

(b)     If the Product has been repaired and/or modified by someone other than Samsung technician or Samsung authorized technician.

(c)     If the serial number of the Product has been altered, effaced and/or removed.

(d)     If installation of the Product fails to comply with the official installation instructions.

(e)     If the Product is used for commercial or non-residential purposes.

(5)        Samsung will not be liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly resulting from damage of the Product.

(6)        This warranty card is valid for products purchased in Hong Kong and Macau only.

(7)        Warranty service within remote area is subject to additional transportation fee stipulated by Samsung. Transportation fee of the Product or parts will apply if such parts or Product has to be inspected or repaired at Samsung’s service center.

(8)        Please properly keep this warranty card together with the official purchase invoice and present to Samsung technicians for inspection when applying for the warranty service.

(9)        In the case of any dispute regarding this warranty terms and conditions, Samsung reserves the right to make the final decision.

Repair Service Terms and Conditions

• Terms and Conditions
 

1. During the warranty period, the free-of-charge repair service for official products of Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited (“Samsung” or “Repair Service Centre”) being sold in Hong Kong market shall be offered subject to these Repair Service Terms and Conditions and any other relevant warranty terms and conditions.

2. During the warranty period, no free of charge repair service shall be provided in the event of violation of any Repair Service Terms and Conditions . In this case repair charges shall be separately quoted by the Repair Service Centre or no repair service will be provided. Any self repairs, damage done to the product or its accessories due to exposure to water, damage caused by misuse, use in violation of instructions and alternation shall be considered as a violation of Repair Service Terms and Conditions.

3. In addition to the necessary spare parts charges, a non-refundable service fee will be imposed in advance to all non-official products (i.e. parallel imports), out-of-warranty products, products with broken or missing warranty label or where any violation of Repair Service Terms and Conditions being occurred. Repair Service Centre will inform the customer of an official quotation by phone or email in due course. All costs, fees and/or charges must be paid in full by cash or credit card.

4. Customer can enjoy warranty service provided that the products are purchased from authorized dealers **** and customers are required to present the original sales invoice, which shall contain the full name of the dealer, date of purchase, invoice number, product model number, serial number (only applicable to mobile phones), product price and dealer’s company chop. For handwritten invoices, serial number tag attached to the product package shall be provided.

5. If the customer fails to present the original sales invoice, the products will be treated as non-warranty products.

6. All parts changed by Repair Service Centre shall be covered by a free one-month warranty service from the date when the repairs are completed (limited to same defect which is not caused by human factors).

7. All changed parts are non-returnable.

8. Repair Service Centre is not responsible for the custody of any product accessories, including but not limited to screen protector, battery, SIM card, SD card.

9. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible for any delay caused by the failure of communication with the customers. Customers are advised to provide Repair Service Centre with valid contact number(s) or email address. If customers do not receive any pick up notification one (1) week after the drop off date, please contact Repair Service Centre by phone.

10. Customers shall collect their product(s) within three (3) months after receipt of pick up notification from Repair Service Centre. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to such products that left unclaimed after three (3) months. If the products are not collected within six (6) months, Repair Service Centre shall have the right to dispose of the products at its own discretion without any prior notice and compensation.

11. The service order receipt should be kept as proof for collection of products. In the case of loss of receipt and products being taken by others, Repair Service Centre shall not be held responsible. If no original receipt is provided, Repair Service Centre shall have the right to refuse to return the products.

12. For products with invisible defects, if customers request for return of their products after inspection and a repair quotation is delivered, Repair Service Centre may not be able to restore the products back to the original defective status (including but not limited to product frame, function and original defects).

13. For products not covered by warranty, if customers are found to have violated any Repair Service Terms and Conditions ( including but not limited to self-repairs, exposure to water, damage caused by misuse), Repair Service Centre shall have the right to cancel any fixed repair service charge quotation and separate quotation based on actual defects shall be applied.

14. Repair Service Centre shall have the right to reject any request for written or verbal report in relation to the repair services or the defects of the products.

15. The repair service of Repair Service Centre only applies to the hardware of the product(s). Accessories such as earphones, connecting cables, compact discs and DVDs, etc are not applicable, unless otherwise stipulated

16. All data stored in electronics products (included but not limited to handsets, mobile tablets, digital cameras, MP3 players and notebook PCs) may be lost or deleted after the repair. Such data includes, but not limited to, Phone Book, SMS, MMS, Photo, Downloaded Ring Tone, Calendar, To Do List. Before delivering any product to Repair Service Centre for repair service, customers should at their own costs (if any) create and keep by themselves a separate backup copy of customers’ data or information stored in the product(s) and disable any security passwords. Customers acknowledge and agree that data or information may be altered or deleted from the product(s) during repairs to which customers do not have any objection. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible or liable for any data stored on the product(s) that is lost, altered, deleted, or is otherwise inaccessible after repair.

17. Customers acknowledge and do not have any objection to the fact that Repair Service Centre does not warrant any uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product(s), and is not under any obligation to support the product(s) for all operating environment, including but not limited to, compatibility with all current and/or future versions of software or hardware, after the repairs.

18. The limited warranty does not apply to any non-Samsung hardware products, software and accessories.

19. Samsung reserves the right to interpret any terms and conditions set forth above in its sole and absolute discretion.

20. Should there be any inconsistency between Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.

Overseas Product

Product that is not a genuine product of Hong Kong (such as personal carry-on, direct purchase from overseas) can be repaired in Samsung Customer Services Center in Hong Kong with cost, if it is repairable.

1) Repair will incur costs/expenses and take more time than repairing of genuine Hong Kong products.

     -  Repair costs/expenses and estimated repair time will be offered at the Samsung Customer Service Centers.

2) Product is subject to inspecting to verify whether it is repairable.

    - Product is not repairable in cases of large-sized parts (such as TV panel, refrigerator door, etc.) or parts are not available (such as end of production, etc.)

 The product that is not currently sold in Hong Kong may not be repaired if -

1) There is significant distinction from the Hong Kong model in product specifications

2) There is lack of repairing supporting conditions such as bandwidth, voltage, etc.

Notebook Computer
 

• Warranty
  

1. The warranty covers the notebook computer power adaptor for 1 year, external battery pack for six months or built-in battery for 1 year.

 

2. Customer must present the original Warranty Card together with original purchase invoice to Samsung’s Customer Service Officer for verification when warranty service is rendered. Service fee will be charged if any one of the documents cannot be produced.

 

3. Customer is responsible for delivering and collecting the product at his/her own cost when carry in repaired service is requested for notebook computer.

 

4. This warranty covers hardware only. Casing and accessories such as Connection Cables, the CD , the Software and the User Manual are excluded in the warranty.

 

5. Samsung does not provide warranty for any preloaded or bundled software. Samsung reserves all rights to make the final judgement on evaluating the malfunction  or breakdown of the product caused from software or hardware.

 

6. Samsung is not obligated to re-install preloaded software. Handling fee will be charged for the request of re-installation service.

 

7. The warranty service is offered to the product which has defect caused under normal use, in the judgment of Samsung’s technician. The warranty is null and void under the following circumstances :

 

               a. if the product has been damaged through abuse, misuse, negligence (such as bumping, wetting), fault voltage supply, air/water pollution, accidents (such as fire, explosion) and natural calamities (such as earthquake, typhoon), .

               b. if the product, including hardware and preloading software, has been modified, altered and/or repaired by Samsung’s unauthorized technicians.

               c. if the serial number of products has been altered or removed.

 

8. The defective part should go with the whole unit in case of repair.

 

9. Any defective part which has been replaced, shall be Samsung’s property.

 

10. Under no circumstances shall Samsung be liable for loss directly or indirectly for any of the following:

 

               a. third-party claims against you for losses or damages;

               b. loss or damage to your records, information or data;

               c. economic consequential damages.

 

11. Customer should backup his/her own hard disk contents of his/her own accord before repair. Samsung shall not provide hard disk backup service.

 

12. In case of repair, hard disk content may be destroyed and customer will not be informed in advance. Samsung shall not be liable for any data, records or program lost due to repair.

 

13. Samsung shall only honor the warranty card issued by Samsung.

 

14. No warranty card or supplementary copy will be issued in case of damage or lost. Samsung reserves the right to charge the customer for new issue.

 

15. In case of any disputes, Samsung reserves all rights for final judgment.

Samsung provides 6 months local warranty for the accessory (Battery and charger etc.)
 

Samsung provides one year local warranty for the lens which purchased individually or through redemption program.
 

Customer must present the original Warranty Card together with original purchase invoice to Samsung's technician for verification when warranty service is rendered. Service fee will be charged if any one of the documents cannot be produced.
 

Within the warranty period, Samsung will repair or replace parts that are damaged under normal use (by the judgement of Samsung) at no additional charge.
 

All the replaced parts will become the property of Samsung.
 

Any cost of transportation is on the account of purchaser.

Repair Service Terms and Conditions

1. During the warranty period, the free-of-charge repair service for official products of Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited (“Samsung” or “Repair Service Centre”) being sold in Hong Kong market shall be offered subject to these Repair Service Terms and Conditions and any other relevant warranty terms and conditions.
 

2. During the warranty period, no free of charge repair service shall be provided in the event of violation of any Repair Service Terms and Conditions . In this case repair charges shall be separately quoted by the Repair Service Centre or no repair service will be provided. Any self repairs, damage done to the product or its accessories due to exposure to water, damage caused by misuse, use in violation of instructions and alternation shall be considered as a violation of Repair Service Terms and Conditions.
 

3. In addition to the necessary spare parts charges, a non-refundable service fee will be imposed in advance to all non-official products (i.e. parallel imports), out-of-warranty products, products with broken or missing warranty label or where any violation of Repair Service Terms and Conditions being occurred. Repair Service Centre will inform the customer of an official quotation by phone or email in due course. All costs, fees and/or charges must be paid in full by cash or credit card.
 

4. Customer can enjoy warranty service provided that the products are purchased from authorized dealers **** and customers are required to present the original sales invoice, which shall contain the full name of the dealer, date of purchase, invoice number, product model number, serial number (only applicable to mobile phones), product price and dealer’s company chop. For handwritten invoices, serial number tag attached to the product package shall be provided.
 

5. If the customer fails to present the original sales invoice, the products will be treated as non-warranty products.
 

6. All parts changed by Repair Service Centre shall be covered by a free one-month warranty service from the date when the repairs are completed (limited to same defect which is not caused by human factors).
 

7. All changed parts are non-returnable.
 

8. Repair Service Centre is not responsible for the custody of any product accessories, including but not limited to screen protector, battery, SIM card, SD card.
 

9. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible for any delay caused by the failure of communication with the customers. Customers are advised to provide Repair Service Centre with valid contact number(s) or email address. If customers do not receive any pick up notification one (1) week after the drop off date, please contact Repair Service Centre by phone.
 

10. Customers shall collect their product(s) within three (3) months after receipt of pick up notification from Repair Service Centre. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to such products that left unclaimed after three (3) months. If the products are not collected within six (6) months, Repair Service Centre shall have the right to dispose of the products at its own discretion without any prior notice and compensation.
 

11. The service order receipt should be kept as proof for collection of products. In the case of loss of receipt and products being taken by others, Repair Service Centre shall not be held responsible. If no original receipt is provided, Repair Service Centre shall have the right to refuse to return the products.
 

12. For products with invisible defects, if customers request for return of their products after inspection and a repair quotation is delivered, Repair Service Centre may not be able to restore the products back to the original defective status (including but not limited to product frame, function and original defects).
 

13. For products not covered by warranty, if customers are found to have violated any Repair Service Terms and Conditions ( including but not limited to self-repairs, exposure to water, damage caused by misuse), Repair Service Centre shall have the right to cancel any fixed repair service charge quotation and separate quotation based on actual defects shall be applied.
 

14. Repair Service Centre shall have the right to reject any request for written or verbal report in relation to the repair services or the defects of the products.
 

15. The repair service of Repair Service Centre only applies to the hardware of the product(s). Accessories such as earphones, connecting cables, compact discs and DVDs, etc are not applicable, unless otherwise stipulated
 

16. All data stored in electronics products (included but not limited to handsets, mobile tablets, digital cameras, MP3 players and notebook PCs) may be lost or deleted after the repair. Such data includes, but not limited to, Phone Book, SMS, MMS, Photo, Downloaded Ring Tone, Calendar, To Do List. Before delivering any product to Repair Service Centre for repair service, customers should at their own costs (if any) create and keep by themselves a separate backup copy of customers’ data or information stored in the product(s) and disable any security passwords. Customers acknowledge and agree that data or information may be altered or deleted from the product(s) during repairs to which customers do not have any objection. Repair Service Centre shall not be responsible or liable for any data stored on the product(s) that is lost, altered, deleted, or is otherwise inaccessible after repair.
 

17. Customers acknowledge and do not have any objection to the fact that Repair Service Centre does not warrant any uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product(s), and is not under any obligation to support the product(s) for all operating environment, including but not limited to, compatibility with all current and/or future versions of software or hardware, after the repairs.
 

18. The limited warranty does not apply to any non-Samsung hardware products, software and accessories.
 

19. Samsung reserves the right to interpret any terms and conditions set forth above in its sole and absolute discretion.
 

20. Should there be any inconsistency between Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.

Overseas Product
 

Product that is not a genuine product of Hong Kong (such as personal carry-on, direct purchase from overseas) can be repaired in Samsung Customer Services Center in Hong Kong with cost, if it is repairable.
    

1) Repair will incur costs/expenses and take more time than repairing of genuine Hong Kong products.

     -  Repair costs/expenses and estimated repair time will be offered at the Samsung Customer Service Centers.
 

2) Product is subject to inspecting to verify whether it is repairable.

    - Product is not repairable in cases of large-sized parts (such as TV panel, refrigerator door, etc.) or parts are not available (such as end of production, etc.)
 

 The product that is not currently sold in Hong Kong may not be repaired if -
 

1) There is significant distinction from the Hong Kong model in product specifications
 

2) There is lack of repairing supporting conditions such as bandwidth, voltage, etc.

Commercial Air Conditioner
 

• Warranty Terms and Conditions
 

1) This warranty period for Samsung commercial air conditioner ("Product") is one (1) year, starting from date of purchase Within the warranty period, if any damage of malfunction of the Product (except shell, accessories and some parts) occurs during the course of normal usage, which should be verified by Samsung technicians), Samsung Electronics Hong Kong Company, Limited ("Samsung"), will be responsible labor and parts repairing or replacing free of charge. The replaced parts will be owned by Samsung.
 

2) The parts of the compressor of the Product are warranted for three (3) years.
 

(The first year free warranty service includes labor fees, parts and refrigerant costs.
 

The second year and the third year warranty services include free parts only, labor fees and refrigerant costs will be charged.)
 

3) The free warranty services does not cover the following items:
 

(a) Cleaning of the Product, (Use of the Product under over-dusty or polluted environment may give rise to poor performance, malfunction or unpleasant smell of the Product)
 

(b) Replacement of cabinet, chassis, front panel, cosmetic items or accessories due to improper use or human damage.
 

(c) Dismantling, bamboo scaffolding, removal and re-installation of the Product due to difficulties of the workplace.
 

(d) Re-installation, removal or relocation of the Product.
 

4) Samsung will not be liable for any problem, damage or loss caused by improper installation of the Product, which improper Installation was not conducted by Samsung.
 

5) This warranty will become invalid under the following circumstances:
 

(a) If the Product is damaged due to misuse, negligence, accident or natural disaster, etc..
 

(b) If the Product has been repaired and/or modified by someone other than Samsung technician.
 

(c) If the serial number of the Product has been altered, effaced and/or removed.
 

(d) If installation of the Product fails to comply with the installation instructions provided by original authorized dealers.
 

6) Samsung will not be liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly caused by breakdown of the Product.
 

7) This warranty service is applicable to Hong Kong region only.
 

8) For warranty service provided to the outlying islands service areas, transportation fee set forth by Samsung will be charged.
 

9) Please properly keep this warranty card together with the official purchase invoice and present to Samsung technicians for inspection when applying for the warranty service.
 

10) In the case of any dispute regarding this warranty terms and conditions, Samsung reserves the right to make the final decision.

 

Residential Air Conditioner
 

• WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 

(1)         The warranty period for Samsung residential air conditioner (“Product”) is one (1) year, starting from the date of purchase. Within the warranty period, if any damage or malfunction of the Product (except shell, accessories and some parts) occurs during the course of normal usage(which should be verified by Samsung technicians), Samsung Electronics Hong Kong Company , Limited ("Samsung") will be responsible for repairing or replacing free of charge. The replaced parts will be owned by Samsung.
