Step 01
Pair Power meter accessory
Connect a power meter accessory to the mobile Samsung Health app.
*Activate the Power meter sensor to connect. For instructions on how to activate the sensor, please refer to the product manual.
- *Available on Galaxy Watch4 series and later models. Requires Samsung Health application version 6.27 or later.
- *Supports power meters listed in the [Bike sensor] list of accessories on the Samsung Health application. [Settings] - [Accessories] - [Bike Sensor]. Data from other types of power meters may not be collected properly.
Step 02
Measure your own FTP
Select [Bike] on the Samsung Health app on your smartphone and enjoy your ride. If you cycle at a mid-to-high intensity level for 4 minutes or more, you’ll be able to check your FTP value.
- *FTP calculation requires initiating an outdoor cycling workout on the mobile Samsung Health application.
- *To increase accuracy, you can also cycle uphill, perform FTP tests such as a Ramp test or a 20-minute power test or measure your heart rate during exercise.

Check Your FTP with the [Bike] workout results
FTP (Functional Threshold Power) represents the power you can sustain over a specific period of time. It serves as a benchmark for your cycling training, helping you set your riding intensity and train systematically.

- To check the Energy score, the health data tracked from Samsung Galaxy Watch (Galaxy Watch4 series and later models, excluding Galaxy Fit3) or Samsung Galaxy Ring must be synchronized with the Samsung Health App. Needs at least the previous day’s activity data and sleep, and heart rate data during sleep.
- Energy score and Wellness tips are available on Android phones (Android 11 or above) and requires Samsung Health app (v6.27 or above).

- To record your snoring, wear your watch while you sleep and place your phone on a stable surface near your head, such as a nightstand, with the bottom of the phone pointed toward you.
