Golden Fluffy Roast Potatoes
Crunchy outside, soft inside with just the right seasonings.
Need dinner ideas? Whip up these easy roast potatoes with just a few ingredients. They blend well with any dish or taste perfect on their own.
Ingredients
· 1.5kg Maris Piper potatoes, cut into large chunks
· 100ml vegetable oil
· 4 bay leaves
· 1 lemon, zested
· 4 tbsp plain flour
Recipe steps
Fill the water reservoir to the max fill line. Heat the oven to 200C Steam Convection on High Steam.
Tip the potatoes onto a tray, toss with 2 tbsp of the oil and cook 25-30 mins until tender when pierced with the tip of a sharp knife.
Vigorously shake the tray to slightly fluff up the potatoes, making them rough around the edges. Turn the oven to 220C Top Heat + Convection. Spoon the remaining oil over the potatoes until coated.
Nestle in the bay leaves and lemon zest, and season generously with sea salt.
Dust over the flour and roast for 35-40 mins, until golden and crunchy, turning them over halfway through cooking.
Remove from the oven and serve warm.
