What is Samsung Trade Up Program?

1. What is Samsung Trade Up program?

Samsung Trade Up program is a program to incentivize customers to upgrade their old appliance to the latest Samsung product (selected products only) under the same product category, while enjoying instant trade up rebate/incentive.

Generally, Samsung Trade Up Program does not include collection/disposal service of Customer’s old appliance. Collection/disposal of Customer’s old appliance (from same product category only) is only available if:-
(a) Customer included/purchased installation service during checkout;
(b) Customer’s delivery address is within the installation coverage area.

2. How does the Trade Up work?

Step 1: Select “Yes” to join Trade Up program at product display page
Step 2: Fill in the brand, size and the condition of your old appliance
Step 3: Instant rebate for participating Samsung product will be reflected at the product display page
Step 4: Add participating Samsung product to cart.
Step 4a (optional): Maintain installation service in cart.
[Note: Subject to purchase of installation service and our installation coverage area, our installer will be able to collect and dispose your fully uninstalled old appliance when they deliver and install your new Samsung product. Disposal service will not be provided if installation service is removed from cart.]
Step 5: Checkout and make payment accordingly

3. How much is my old appliance worth?

Your old appliance has zero value. The instant trade up discount is not a trade-in value for your old appliance but an incentive for you to upgrade your old appliance to the latest Samsung products.

5. What do I need to do before the collection of my old appliance?

For eligible customers who purchased installation service and are within our installation coverage area, the installer will be able to collect your old appliance when they deliver your newly purchase Samsung product. However, you must ensure that your old appliance is fully uninstalled (including removal from the wall-mount, if any) and ready for collection at the same time and date of the delivery of the newly purchased Samsung product. If you failed to do so, Samsung/installer reserves the right to not collect/dispose your old appliance.

Note: If you require the installer's assistance to uninstall the old appliances, you may make separate arrangements with the installer subject to (a) the installer's availability/capability; and (b) additional charges to be agreed and paid directly by you to the installer.

6. Can I get my old appliance back if I returned my new Samsung product for a refund?

For eligible and successful return, you will be refunded the transaction value of the new Samsung product. The old appliance collected from you cannot be returned and you will not receive any further amount or value for the old appliance.

7. Can I trade up my old appliance to different product categories for example, trading up old TV to new Samsung washing machine?

You can only trade up your old appliance for Samsung’s product from the same type/category for example, trading up your old TV for the purchase of new Samsung TV. Samsung reserves the right to not collect/dispose your old appliances from different type/category.
