Cool rooms rapidly. The twin compressor works stably at any speed, as its two cylinders rotate alternately. The BLDC motor’s Neodymium magnets are 3x stronger than normal, so it generates powerful and faster rotation. So it cools the air 43% faster² and disperses cool air farther and wider.

Feel comfortably cool as soon as you get home. Welcome Cooling, part of the SmartThings App5, detects your location by tracking your smartphone’s GPS7. If you come within a preset distance, it automatically sets the room temperature at the desired level, using your preferred mode and settings.

Control the temperature effortlessly. Using the SmartThings App5 you can remotely control and monitor it with just a touch. You can also control it with your voice using a voice assistant8, such as Samsung Bixby9, Amazon Alexa10 or Google Assistant11. It even suggests the best settings.

Control energy usage to reduce your bills. SmartThings Energy5 lets you easily check your power consumption12. If the estimated amount exceeds your target, it adjusts the energy usage of all smart appliances. When the air conditioner is on it draws the blinds and alerts you if you go out.

  1. The journal was conducted by Samsung Medical Center with the participation of several hospital members.   2. Based on internal testing. Tested on the AR12TXCAAWKEU model compared with the Samsung conventional AQ12EASER model, measuring the time taken to reduce the room temperature from 33°C to 25°C.
