I believe we can all work to make social media a happier place – and we all carry around the power and potential to do it in our purses and pockets.”

But remember, balance. Kindness comes a little easier once you take care of your own needs – like establishing healthy boundaries between your real and your digital life.
“I think even sharing something as simple as a cute cartoon with a really empowering message of self-love can be a simple reminder for your followers to take a step back, take a deep breath, and take care of yourself,” says Millie. In fact, research shows that keeping your screen time down to just 30 minutes a day can lead to better mental health outcomes.
