Last Update date : Jul 14. 2022
If water is leaking at the Y Connector, follow these steps:
1
Turn off the cold water source valve
2
Remove both water lines from the Y connector by turning them counter clockwise
3
Then unscrew the Y connector from the back of the Washing Machine by turning the counter clockwise
4
Inspect the rubber seal for proper placement. If the rubber seal is not positioned properly, it will look like the image on the left and cause a leak
5
Remove and reinstall the seal. When the seal is properly installed, it will look like the image on the right
6
Reinstall the Y Connector on the cold water inlet of the Washing Machine
• Tighten the Y Connector hand tight, then use a plier to tighten an additional 1/4 turn
• Reinstall both water lines to the Y Connector and turn the cold water source valve counter clockwise to the full open position. After which, check for leaks
