How to use the CoolSelect Zone Drawers in Samsung fridge?

The CoolSelect Zone Drawer has a control panel that lets you control the temperature and functions of the drawer. The control panel displays five temperature and function options, as shown in the following diagram:

The CoolSelect Zone Drawer options are described below:

Cool
The Cool option sets the temperature in the CoolSelect Zone Drawer to the same temperature as the  Refrigerator. To select Cool, press the Select button on the control panel until the Cool indicator light goes on.

Chill
The Chill option sets the temperature of the CoolSelect Zone Drawer to 30ºF (-1º C) regardless of the set temperature of the Refrigerator. The Chill temperature helps keep meats or fish fresh longer.

To select Chill, press the Select button until the Chill indicator light goes on.

Soft Freeze
The Soft Freeze option sets the temperature of the CoolSelect Zone Drawer to 23º F (-5º C) regardless of the set temperature of the refrigerator. The Soft-Freeze temperature helps keep meats or fish fresh longer.

To select Soft Freeze, press the Select button until the Soft Freeze indicator light goes on.

Quick Cool
The Quick Cool option cools 1 to 3 canned beverages in 60 minutes.

To select Quick Cool, press the Quick Cool button. To cancel Quick Cool, press the Quick Cool button again.

If you cancel Quick Cool manually, the CoolSelect Zone Drawer returns to the previous temperature setting. If you do not cancel Quick Cool manually, the CoolSelect Zone Drawer automatically returns to the Cool option temperature setting after 60 minutes.

Thaw
The Thaw option defrosts frozen items by supplying warm and cold air alternately to the CoolSelect Zone Drawer.

Depending on what you are thawing, you can set the Thaw time to 4 hours, 6 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours sequentially.

To select the Thaw option, press the Select button until the Thaw indicator light goes on. To cancel the Thaw option, press any button but the Thaw button.
