How to Fix the Arlo Camera When It Does Not Respond
If your Arlo Camera won’t respond, follow these steps:
Please note: Do not disconnect the camera, open the battery door or remove the battery during firmware updating. During the process, the camera’s LED blinks amber and blue. After the firmware is installed, the camera will reboot and switch off the LED. Once the LED lights up again and the pattern stops changing, the camera is available to stream
a. In the Arlo App, Mode > Select Camera or Base Station > Select SmartThings Mode
a. Bring the camera closer to the Base Station or Connect Home and confirm functionality
a. Launch the Arlo app or log in to arlo.netgear.com
b. Tap Settings > My Devices and select the Arlo device to update > Device Info > Firmware > Update
a. If the Netgear base station goes offline for any reason, the camera will turn off in the App. Once the base station is online again, the user must tap the on/off tile on the device details page to turn the camera on
a. On Samsung SmartThings home screen, tap Arlo Camera > tap More (3 vertical dots on the top right) > Edit > Delete device
b. Re-add Arlo Camera, Tap + > Add Device > Arlo > Camera
