How do I change the display name of my Galaxy Buds?

Once you have connected your Galaxy Buds to your device, you can set up the earbuds as you wish from the Galaxy Wearable app. One of the features this app offers is changing the display name of your Galaxy Buds on your device.

Before you know how to change the name of your Galaxy Buds, you need to know how to download Galaxy Wearable, the application that will allow you to use, customise and configure your Buds. To download the app, follow these steps:

Step 1. Open your Galaxy Store app.

Step 2. Tap on the magnifying glass icon at the top right of the screen.

Step 3. In the search bar, type the name of the app and tap on the "Galaxy Wearable" option.

Step 4. Tap on the install icon.

Step 5. When the download is complete, tap the play icon to open the app from the Galaxy Store or go to your apps screen and tap on the "Galaxy Wearable" logo.

How to change the name of your Galaxy Buds

After connecting your Galaxy Buds to your device, you can change the earbuds’ display name using the Galaxy Wearable app by following the next steps:

Step 1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app and tap “Earbuds settings”.

Step 2. Tap “About earbuds”.

Step 3. Select “Edit” and name your Galaxy Buds as you wish.

Step 4. Tap “Rename”.
