Connect Galaxy Tab S to other devices via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth

You can connect your Galaxy Tab S Series to other devices via:

• Bluetooth - creates a direct wireless connection between two devices over short distances
• Wi-Fi - Access the Internet or other network devices via a Wi-Fi network
• Wi-Fi Direct - connects devices directly via a Wi-Fi network without requiring an access point

Galaxy Tab S:

1 On the Apps screen, tap Settings > CONNECTIONS > Bluetooth. Tap the Bluetooth switch to activate it, and then tap SCAN.
Once connected, the detected devices will be listed. To set the device as visible to other devices, tap the device name
2 Select a device to pair with. If the device you want to pair with is not in the list, turn on the visibility option for the device
3 Accept the Bluetooth authorisation request on both devices to confirm

Galaxy Tab S2:

1 On the Settings screen, tap Bluetooth, and then tap the switch to activate it.
Once connected, the detected devices will be listed
2 Select a device to pair with. If the device you want to pair with is not in the list, turn on the visibility option for the device
3 Accept the Bluetooth authorisation request on both devices to confirm. The devices will be connected when the other device accepts the Bluetooth connectionrequest

Galaxy Tab S3:

1 On the Settings screen, tap Connections > Bluetooth, and then tap the switch toactivate it
Once connected, the detected devices will be listed
2 Select a device to pair with. If the device you want to pair with is not in the list, turn on the visibility option for the device
3 Accept the Bluetooth connection request on your device to confirm. The devices will be connected when the other device accepts the Bluetooth connectionrequest

Please note:

• Once the device connects to a Wi-Fi network, the device will reconnect to that network each time it is available without requiring a password. To prevent the device connecting to the network automatically, select it from the list of networks and tap FORGET

• If you cannot connect to a Wi-Fi network properly, restart your device’s Wi-Fi feature or the wireless router

Galaxy Tab S2:

1 On the Settings screen, tap Wi-Fi, and then tap the switch to activate it
2 Select a network from the Wi-Fi networks list
3 Tap CONNECT

Galaxy Tab S3:

1 On the Settings screen, tap Connections > Wi-Fi, and then tap the switch to activate it
2 Select a network from the Wi-Fi networks list
3 Tap CONNECT

Galaxy Tab S:

1 On the Apps screen, tap Settings > CONNECTIONS > Wi-Fi, and then tap the Wi-Fiswitch to activate it
2 Tap the three vertical dots icon > Wi-Fi Direct. Once connected, the detected devices will be listed
3 Select a device to connect to. To change the device name, tap the three vertical dots icon > Rename device
4 Accept the Wi-Fi Direct authorisation request on the other device to confirm

1 On the Settings screen, tap Wi-Fi, and then tap the switch to activate it
2 Tap Wi-Fi Direct. Once connected, the detected devices will be listed. If the device you want to connect to is not in the list, turn on the Wi-Fi Direct feature on the device
