What to do if Philips Hue Bridge won't discover?

If your Philip Hue Bridge won’t discover, follow these steps:

Make sure the Hue Bridge is set up and working in the Philips Hue App

Make sure the Hue Bridge firmware is up to date

Make sure the Hue Bridge is connected to the Connect Home’s network

Reboot the hub
a. Tap Wi-Fi hub on home screen > Tap the picture of Wi-Fi hub device > Reboot Device > Reboot
b. If the Connect Home does not respond to the reboot command, hard reboot it by unplugging the power for 30 seconds

Remove Philips Hue Bridge from Connect Home and re-add (last resort)
a. Unplug the Hue Bridge’s power cable
b. On Samsung SmartThings home screen, tap Philips Hue Bridge > tap More (3 vertical dots on the top right) > Edit > Delete device
c. To re-add, tap + on the home screen > Add Device > Philips Hue
d. While the Connect Home is searching, power on the Hue Bridge
a. Unplug the Hue Bridge’s power cable
b. On Samsung SmartThings home screen, tap Philips Hue Bridge > tap More (3 vertical dots on the top right) > Edit > Delete device
c. To re-add, tap + on the home screen > Add Device > Philips Hue
d. While the Connect Home is searching, power on the Hue Bridge
