What is the Water Lock mode on Samsung Galaxy Watch?

The Galaxy Watch is rated 5ATM water and dust resistant, which means it can withstand the pool, the rain, or a post-workout shower. Be sure to turn on Water lock mode before swimming or exercising in water.

When Water Lock mode is enabled, the touchscreen, the wake-up gesture feature, and watch always on feature will be deactivated.

When you select Exercise > Swimming menu, the Water Lock mode will be activated automatically.

To turn off Water lock mode and eject water press and hold the Home.

• Eject water: Remove water from inside the speaker with a loud sound if your Galaxy Watch does not emit sound well after being used under water. Tap Play sound to start flushing out the internal water.
