How to use apps on a 2024 Samsung Smart TV
You can install apps on your 2024 Samsung Smart TV, ranging from gaming apps to sports apps. Our guide covers the instructions for installing and opening your favorite apps, as well as managing their settings.
You can install a variety of Smart Hub apps, such as video, music, sports, and game apps. You can then launch the apps on your Smart TV.
You can also manage your apps’ settings after they’ve been installed.
Select Apps on the Home screen, and then select App Settings at the bottom of the screen. Select an app to use the following options:
- Delete: Delete the app from the TV. This will uninstall the app.
Note: Uninstalling an app will remove associated data, so please proceed with caution. Pre-installed default apps cannot be uninstalled.
- Add to Home: Move the app to your desired location on the Home screen.
- Lock: Lock the app with a PIN so only you can use it. When the app is selected again, you will be prompted to enter the PIN to unlock it.
Note: You can change your PIN if needed. From the Home screen, select Settings, and then select All Settings. Select General & Privacy, then select System Manager, and then select Change PIN.
- Move: Move the app to another location.
- Reinstall: Reinstall the app.
- View Details: View the app’s information and details.
Notes:
- If the TV's internal memory is insufficient, you can install some apps on a USB device.
- Apps installed on a USB device cannot be used on a PC or another TV.
