Nothing in this warranty purports to limit, modify, take away from, disclaim, exclude or suspend any mandatory warranty requirements provided or non-excludable statutory rights you may have under the law. This warranty gives you additional protection for your Samsung product, as delivered new in the original packaging to the original end-user purchaser (“Product”), subject to the exclusions, terms and conditions herein.
This Product is warranted for the specified Warranty Period from the date of original retail purchase against defects in quality and materials under normal, non-commercial use.
Unless otherwise specified, this warranty only covers the defects in material, design and workmanship of the hardware components of the Product as originally supplied. The warranty does not cover any software, consumable items, or accessories even if packaged or sold together with the Product. For details on any user rights with respect to software, please refer to licensing agreement accompanying such software.
This limited warranty is only valid in Singapore, and the Product is not eligible for any international warranty service. Warranty service may only be performed by a Samsung authorised service centre.
This warranty only applies to Products manufactured by or for Samsung that can be identified by the original “Samsung” trademark, trade name or logo affixed to them, and LOCALLY purchased from Samsung Electronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. or Samsung Electronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. authorised Singapore dealers, distributors or resellers.
This warranty is only valid upon registration of the Product by the original end-user purchaser within 7 days from the date of purchase either by: (a) sending the “Manufacturer” portion of the warranty card to Samsung Electronics Singapore Pte. Ltd.; OR (b) logging on to here.
This warranty is not transferable.
Samsung does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Product. Product performance is affected by system configuration, software, applications, and your data and operator control of the system, among other factors. While the Product is considered to be compatible with many systems, it is your responsibility to determine compatibility and integration of the Product with other systems.
For the avoidance of doubt, minor imperfections within design specifications and that do not materially alter functionality of the Product are not considered a defect under this warranty.
If any section, provision, clause, sentence or part thereof of this warranty is held to be void, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remainder shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.
Waiver by Samsung of any breach of the warranty terms and conditions shall not be deemed as a continuing waiver of such default or a waiver of any other default.
Except where otherwise expressly provided, the terms and conditions of this warranty are contained exclusively herein, and no other agreement, provision or statement, regardless of the origin of the same, shall be accepted as extending, adding to, subtracting from or otherwise altering the terms of this warranty. No warranty or guarantee given by any other person, firm or corporation with respect to the Product shall be binding on Samsung.
Limitations and Exclusions
Notwithstanding that the Product is within the Warranty Period, this warranty shall be invalidated and rendered void upon the following:
The Product serial number, IMEI number or warranty seal has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, tampered or is illegible; or
The Product shows evidence of commercial use; impact, shock; accident; fire, flood, earthquake, lightning or other acts of nature; sand, liquid or food damage; exposure to extreme thermal or environmental conditions beyond product specifications or a rapid change in such conditions; electrostatic discharge; battery or chemical corrosion; abuse, mishandling, improper installation, operation or maintenance, use of wrong electrical supply or voltage; damage during shipment to / from Samsung authorised service centre; damage caused by installation of any software, programs or applications, or use of any accessories, consumable items or peripheral equipment not provided or approved by Samsung for use with the Product; improper alteration, modification, adjustment, tampering; replacement of parts with parts not provided or approved by Samsung; or dismantling, opening, service or repair performed other than by Samsung authorised service centre; or any other use contrary to the product manual.
This warranty does not cover and is not limited to:
Missing accessories or external parts of the Product, unless such claim is made within 3 days from the date of original retail purchase;
Cosmetic damage to outer surface/finishing and external parts of the Product, including without limitation cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior casing, screen, camera lens, buttons and other attachments;
Damage resulting from use of any type of window cleaner, soap, scouring powder or any cleanser with solvents such as alcohol, benzene, ammonia or paint thinner;
Damage resulting from use of abrasive pads or paper towels;
Deterioration of the Product due to normal wear and tear, including without limitation rust or stains;
General maintenance, password reset assistance, routine servicing and cleaning, updating/upgrading of software, installation of software or applications, product demonstration, or any other service other than repair;
Any other circumstance such that repair would be contradictory or not in compliance with good business practice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the warranty expressly provided herein is the sole and exclusive warranty provided in connection with the Product and no other warranties, representations, endorsements or conditions of any kind, whether oral, written, express, implied or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and warranties against hidden or latent defects, are provided. In so far as any warranties cannot be excluded, such warranties shall be limited to the terms of this warranty and for the Warranty Period expressed herein.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Samsung shall not be in any way liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, special or similar damages whatsoever arising from or in connection with the use, inability to use or performance of the Product, including without limitation loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of reputation, failure to realise savings or other benefits, loss of use of the Product or any associated equipment, loss of or damage to other property due to the malfunction of the Product, costs of substitute equipment, loss due to downtime cost, costs of recovering, reprogramming or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with a system containing the Product, or loss, damage, corruption or compromise of data, whether due to breach of warranty, strict liability, product liability, the negligence of Samsung, or otherwise, even if Samsung is aware of the possibility of such damages. Samsung does not exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death resulting from Samsung’s negligence.
In no event shall any recovery against Samsung exceed the actual price paid for the purchase of the Product.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you assume all risk and liability for loss, damage or injury to you and your property and to any third parties and their property arising out of the use, misuse or inability to use the Product not caused directly by the negligence of Samsung.
You agree and acknowledge that Samsung’s exclusions and limitations of liability are reasonable in the circumstances.
Customer Data / Items Left in the Product
It is your responsibility to secure and / or back up remove any programs, data or other material stored in the Product. You must also delete any confidential / personal information contained in the Product before handing over the Product for repair. Samsung assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, destruction, alteration or failure to maintain confidentiality of programs, data, information or other material left in the Product, howsoever caused, whether during servicing of the Product, through use of synchronisation software for the Product, or otherwise.
It is your responsibility to remove any accessories, external parts or other attachments to the Product (“Accessories”) prior to handing in the Product for servicing. Samsung shall not be liable for any loss, damage or destruction to any such Accessories which are not removed.
Obtaining Warranty Service
Prior to making a claim under this warranty, please follow the procedures outlined in the product manual for problem determination, or log on to www.samsung.com/sg/ for a list of Self Help answers for simple troubleshooting.
By making a claim under this warranty, you agree to waive any claim(s) for compensation, monetary or otherwise, which you may be entitled to in respect of the Product other than that provided under this warranty, if any.
If you consider that the Product which you have purchased is not of acceptable quality, has a latent defect, or is otherwise not compliant with any warranties or legal rights given to you under the law, you must give notice to Samsung of the alleged defects promptly upon discovery.
If a valid claim is made on a valid warranty during the Warranty Period, Samsung will, upon sight of valid supporting documents (i.e. dated proof of purchase and warranty card), repair, or for user-installable parts require you to repair the Product. For defects that cannot be repaired within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience, Samsung will either: (a) replace the Product, or (b) refund the amount paid by you for the Product or part thereof.
Samsung may conduct diagnostic tests on the Product to determine the cause of failure / defect. Samsung’s decision on all claims, including without limitation whether there is a defect in the Product, the cause of failure / defect, validity of the warranty, and what remedy is to be provided, shall be conclusive and you agree to abide by such decision. Products with valid warranty subsisting will upon repair or replacement continue to be warranted for the remaining of its warranty period, or for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of completion of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.
For the avoidance of doubt, Samsung shall not in any way be liable under this warranty to repair, replace or refund any Product which Samsung may, at its sole discretion, decide as being “Out of Warranty” due to breach of the warranty terms, invalidation of the warranty, expiry of the Warranty Period, or other reasons. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Samsung may at its sole discretion agree to repair an Out of Warranty Product, on the condition that you pay an appropriate service fee for the repair. Repairs on Out of Warranty products carry a one (1) month warranty from the date of completion of service for the: (a) parts repaired / replaced, and (b) same fault for which the repair was conducted.
Repair or replacement may involve the use of functionally equivalent refurbished or reconditioned products or parts.
Any replaced product or part, or fully refunded product, shall become the absolute property of Samsung and must be returned to Samsung.
Overseas Product Repair
Product that is not currently sold locally by authorised resellers (such personal carry-on, direct purchase overseas) can be repaired at your cost, provided it is repairable, required parts and expertise are available. In addition:
- Samsung have the sole discretion on whether to accept the Product for repair after they evaluate the Product. The cost of evaluation and transport, if any shall be borne by you.
- Product that is not currently sold in your country of purchase is not repairable.
- Repair costs may be higher due to parts cost and logistics.
- Repair time may be longer
- Detailed cost & estimated repair time may be obtained at authorised service centres or service personnel
- If there is severe difference, in terms of product specification and other factors such as bandwidth, voltage, software etc, repair is not available.

Limited Local Warranty
Nothing in this warranty purports to limit, modify, take away from, disclaim, exclude or suspend any mandatory warranty requirements provided or non-excludable statutory rights you may have under the law. This warranty gives you additional protection for your Samsung product, as delivered new in the original packaging to the original end-user purchaser (“Product”), subject to the exclusions, terms and conditions herein.
This Product is warranted for the specified Warranty Period from the date of original retail purchase against defects in quality and materials under normal, non-commercial use. After expiry of initial Warranty Period, “Motor/Compressor only” warranty covers only replacement/repair cost of motor/compressor, and any labour or transportation costs or cost of gas refill or other materials in relation to servicing of the Product shall be borne by you.
Unless otherwise specified, this warranty does not cover any software, consumable items such as bulbs and filter bags, or accessories even if packaged or sold together with the Product such as cables, remote controls, adaptors, plugs, plastic/glass attachments or panels, strainers, filters, extension pipes, hoses, ice trays, crisper trays, shelves, feed valve joints, air filter valves, piping, turntable plates and suction nozzles. For details on any user rights with respect to software, please refer to licensing agreement accompanying such software.
This limited warranty is only valid in Singapore, and the Product is not eligible for any international warranty service. Warranty service may only be performed by a Samsung authorised service centre.

The Product shows evidence of commercial use; impact, shock; accident; fire, flood, earthquake, lightning or other acts of nature; sand, liquid or food damage; exposure to extreme thermal or environmental conditions beyond product specifications or a rapid change in such conditions; electrostatic discharge; battery or chemical corrosion; abuse, mishandling, improper installation, operation or maintenance, use of wrong electrical supply or voltage; damage during shipment to/from Samsung authorised service centre; damage caused by installation of any software, programs or applications, or use of any accessories, consumable items or peripheral equipment not provided or approved by Samsung for use with the Product; improper alteration, modification, adjustment, tampering; replacement of parts with parts not provided or approved by Samsung; or dismantling, opening, service or repair performed other than by Samsung authorised service centre; or any other use contrary to the product manual.
This warranty does not cover and is not limited to:
Missing accessories or external parts of the Product, unless such claim is made within 3 days from the date of original retail purchase;
Cosmetic damage to outer surface/finishing and external parts of the Product, including without limitation cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior casing, levers, control knobs and other attachments;
Damage resulting from use of any type of window cleaner, soap, scouring powder or any cleanser with solvents such as alcohol, benzene, ammonia or paint thinner;
Damage resulting from use of abrasive pads or paper towels;
Deterioration of the Product due to normal wear and tear, including without limitation rust or stains;
General maintenance, password reset assistance, routine servicing and cleaning, updating/upgrading of software, installation of software or applications, product demonstration, or any other service other than repair;
Any other circumstance such that repair would be contradictory or not in compliance with good business practice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the warranty expressly provided herein is the sole and exclusive warranty provided in connection with the Product and no other warranties, representations, endorsements or conditions of any kind, whether oral, written, express, implied or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and warranties against hidden or latent defects, are provided. In so far as any warranties cannot be excluded, such warranties shall be limited to the terms of this warranty and for the Warranty Period expressed herein.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Samsung shall not be in any way liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, special or similar damages whatsoever arising from or in connection with the use, inability to use or performance of the Product, including without limitation loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of reputation, failure to realise savings or other benefits, loss of use of the Product or any associated equipment, loss of or damage to other property due to the malfunction of the Product, costs of substitute equipment, loss due to downtime cost, costs of recovering, reprogramming or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with a system containing the Product, or loss, damage, corruption or compromise of data, whether due to breach of warranty, strict liability, product liability, the negligence of Samsung, or otherwise, even if Samsung is aware of the possibility of such damages. Samsung does not exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death resulting from Samsung’s negligence.
In no event shall any recovery against Samsung exceed the actual price paid for the purchase of the Product.
You agree and acknowledge that Samsung’s exclusions and limitations of liability are reasonable in the circumstances.

If a valid claim is made on a valid warranty during the Warranty Period, Samsung will, upon sight of valid supporting documents (i.e. dated proof of purchase and warranty card), repair, or for user-installable parts require you to repair the Product. For defects that cannot be repaired within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience, Samsung will either: (a) replace the Product, or (b) refund the amount paid by you for the Product or part thereof.
Samsung may conduct diagnostic tests on the Product to determine the cause of failure / defect. Samsung’s decision on all claims, including without limitation whether there is a defect in the Product, the cause of failure / defect, validity of the warranty, and what remedy is to be provided, shall be conclusive and you agree to abide by such decision. Products with valid warranty subsisting will upon repair or replacement continue to be warranted for the remaining of its warranty period, or for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of completion of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.
For the avoidance of doubt, Samsung shall not in any way be liable under this warranty to repair, replace or refund any Product which Samsung may, at its sole discretion, decide as being “Out of Warranty” due to breach of the warranty terms, invalidation of the warranty, expiry of the Warranty Period, or other reasons. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Samsung may at its sole discretion agree to repair an Out of Warranty Product, on the condition that you pay an appropriate service fee for the repair. Repairs on Out of Warranty products carry a one (1) month warranty from the date of completion of service for the: (a) parts repaired/replaced, and (b) same fault for which the repair was conducted.
Repair or replacement may involve the use of functionally equivalent refurbished or reconditioned products or parts.
Any replaced product or part, or fully refunded product, shall become the absolute property of Samsung and must be returned to Samsung.
Samsung authorised service personnel may refuse to attend to any Product installed in inaccessible locations (e.g. above 2 meters from the ground).
For Products with On-site warranty service, Samsung reserves the right to charge transportation charges of S$30.00 per trip for each service visit made where Samsung determines that the malfunction in the Product is not due to any defect in the Product (e.g. antenna or cable set-up box malfunction).
Zero Bright-Dot Warranty *FOR TELEVISIONS*
Your Samsung television (the “TV”) is covered by a Zero Bright-Dot Warranty for a period of 7 days from the date of original retail purchase under normal use (**Bright Dots”: Pixels that are always lit or “on”). Normal warranty terms apply, where applicable.
The Zero Bright-Dot Warranty entitles the TV to a 1-to-1 exchange service. To utilise the Zero Bright-Dot Warranty, please call in to our Samsung Hotline at 1800-SAMSUNG (7267864) to arrange for onsite appointment.
Usual limited local warranty scope and service will resume 3 days after the date of exchange.
Overseas Product Repair
Product that is not currently sold locally by authorised resellers (such personal carry-on, direct purchase overseas) can be repaired at your cost, provided it is repairable, required parts and expertise are available. In addition:
- Samsung have the sole discretion on whether to accept the Product for repair after they evaluate the Product. The cost of evaluation and transport, if any shall be borne by you.
- Product that is not currently sold in your country of purchase is not repairable.
- Repair costs may be higher due to parts cost and logistics.
- Repair time may be longer
- Detailed cost & estimated repair time may be obtained at authorised service centres or service personnel
- If there is severe difference, in terms of product specification and other factors such as bandwidth, voltage, software etc, repair is not available.

Nothing in this warranty purports to limit, modify, take away from, disclaim, exclude or suspend any mandatory warranty requirements provided or non-excludable statutory rights you may have under the law. This warranty gives you additional protection for your Samsung product, as delivered new in the original packaging to the original end-user purchaser (“Product”), subject to the exclusions, terms and conditions herein.
This Product is warranted for the specified Warranty Period from the date of original retail purchase against defects in quality and materials under normal, non-commercial use.
Unless otherwise specified, this warranty only covers the hardware components of the Product as originally supplied and does not cover any software, consumable items such as primary/ non-rechargeable batteries, or accessories such as antennae, cables, dust covers, remote controls, adaptors and plugs even if packaged or sold together with the Product. Product performance is affected by system configuration, software, applications, and your data and operator control of the system, among other factors. While the Product is considered to be compatible with many systems, it is your responsibility to determine compatibility and integration of the Product with other systems.
For the avoidance of doubt, minor imperfections within design specifications and that do not materially alter functionality of the Product are not considered a defect under this warranty. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, “Black Dots” not exceeding 7 dots are within factory specification and are not considered a defect under this warranty (**Black Dots: Dead pixels that are always dark or “off”).
If any section, provision, clause, sentence or part thereof of this warranty is held to be void, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remainder shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.
Waiver by Samsung of any breach of the warranty terms and conditions shall not be deemed as a continuing waiver of such default or a waiver of any other default.

Customer Data / Items Left in the Product
It is your responsibility to remove any accessories, external parts or other attachments to the Product (“Accessories”) prior to handing in the Product for servicing. Samsung shall not be liable for any loss, damage or destruction to any such Accessories which are not removed.

Notwithstanding that the Product is within the Warranty Period, this warranty shall be invalidated and rendered void upon the following:

Samsung’s decision on all claims, including without limitation whether there is a defect in the Product, the cause of failure / defect, validity of the warranty, and what remedy is to be provided, shall be conclusive and you agree to abide by such decision. Products with valid warranty subsisting will upon repair or replacement continue to be warranted for the remaining of its warranty period, or for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of completion of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.
For the avoidance of doubt, Samsung shall not in any way be liable under this warranty to repair, replace or refund any Product which Samsung may, at its sole discretion, decide as being “Out of Warranty” due to breach of the warranty terms, invalidation of the warranty, expiry of the Warranty Period, or other reasons. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Samsung may at its sole discretion agree to repair an Out of Warranty Product, on the condition that you pay an appropriate service fee for the repair. Repairs on Out of Warranty products carry a one (1) month warranty from the date of completion of service for the: (a) parts repaired / replaced, and (b) same fault for which the repair was conducted.
Repair or replacement may involve the use of functionally equivalent refurbished or reconditioned products or parts.
Any replaced product or part, or fully refunded product, shall become the absolute property of Samsung and must be returned to Samsung.
Overseas Product Repair
Product that is not currently sold locally by authorised resellers (such personal carry-on, direct purchase overseas) can be repaired at your cost, provided it is repairable, required parts and expertise are available. In addition:
- Samsung have the sole discretion on whether to accept the Product for repair after they evaluate the Product. The cost of evaluation and transport, if any shall be borne by you.
- Product that is not currently sold in your country of purchase is not repairable.
- Repair costs may be higher due to parts cost and logistics.
- Repair time may be longer
- Detailed cost & estimated repair time may be obtained at authorised service centres or service personnel
- If there is severe difference, in terms of product specification and other factors such as bandwidth, voltage, software etc, repair is not available.

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT PROVIDED BY SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. (“SAMSUNG”). YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT CONSTITUTES AGREEMENT WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS SAMSUNG BRANDED CONSUMER STORAGE WARRANTY STATEMENT (“AGREEMENT”). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT.
Warranty Policy
SAMSUNG warrants to the user of this product (“You”) that, during the Warranty Period set forth below, the product under normal use will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and conform to SAMSUNG’s published product specifications, subject to the conditions stated herein.
In the event that SAMSUNG determines a valid claim is made on a valid warranty during the Warranty Period, SAMSUNG will, at its option and subject to the conditions and exceptions stated in this Agreement, either: (1) replace the product with equivalent or greater capacity and functionality; or (2) refund the amount paid by you for the product or part thereof. Proof of purchase showing information including but not limited to the date and place of purchase and the reseller’s name may be required.
For the avoidance of doubt, Samsung shall not in any way be liable under this warranty to repair, replace or refund any product which Samsung may, at its sole discretion, decide as being “Out of Warranty” due to breach of the warranty terms, invalidation of the warranty, expiry of the Warranty Period, or other reasons
Samsung does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product. Product performance is affected by system configuration, software, applications, and your data and operator control of the system, among other factors. While the product is considered to be compatible with many systems, it is your responsibility to determine compatibility and integration of the product with other systems.
For the avoidance of doubt, minor imperfections within design specifications and that do not materially alter functionality of the product are not considered a defect under this warranty.
If any section, provision, clause, sentence or part thereof of this warranty is held to be void, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remainder shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.
Waiver by Samsung of any breach of the warranty terms and conditions shall not be deemed as a continuing waiver of such default or a waiver of any other default.
Except where otherwise expressly provided, the terms and conditions of this warranty are contained exclusively herein, and no other agreement, provision or statement, regardless of the origin of the same, shall be accepted as extending, adding to, subtracting from or otherwise altering the terms of this warranty. No warranty or guarantee given by any other person, firm or corporation with respect to the product shall be binding on Samsung.
THIS AGREEMENT SETS FORTH SAMSUNG’S ENTIRE LIABILITY AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AVAILABLE TO YOU FOR YOUR WARRANTY CLAIM. SAMSUNG DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL SAMSUNG, ITS SUPPLIERS, OR ANY AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, ANY FINANCIAL LOSS, OR ANY LOST DATA OR FILES, EVEN IF SAMSUNG HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE AND NOTWITHSTANDING THE FAILURE OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY. IN NO EVENT WILL SAMSUNG’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. THESE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. IF IMPLIED WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER APPLICABLE LAWS, THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED, SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY.
Warranty Limitations
Warranties provided herein do not extend to any use of the product for or with continuous recording instruments or any other write-intensive devices, including without limitation security cameras, surveillance systems, dashboard cameras, black box cameras, internet protocol/network cameras, continuous recording set top box devices, continuous data logging devices like servers, dedicated devices for benchmarking tests, or the primary drive for certain devices, and any other excessive uses.
SAMSUNG is not responsible for any failure or defect arising out of the presence of or use with a third party product, software, or component, whether authorised or not. This warranty is void if the product was not used in strict accordance with its instructions or was damaged as a result of improper installation, misuse, unauthorised repair, modification, or accident. In the case of replacements, ownership of the original product will be transferred to SAMSUNG and SAMSUNG will not return the original product to You. Data recovery is not covered under this warranty and is not part of the replacement process. SAMSUNG is not liable for data loss or corruption in any cases.
This warranty only applies to products manufactured by or for Samsung that can be identified by the original “Samsung” trademark, trade name or logo affixed to them, and locally purchased Samsung Electronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. or Samsung Electronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. authorised Singapore dealers, distributors or resellers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the warranty expressly provided herein is the sole and exclusive warranty provided in connection with the product and no other warranties, representations, endorsements or conditions of any kind, whether oral, written, express, implied or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and warranties against hidden or latent defects, are provided. In so far as any warranties cannot be excluded, such warranties shall be limited to the terms of this warranty and for the Warranty Period expressed herein.
You agree that the product shall not be used in any life support systems or other applications where failure could cause injury or threaten life. SAMSUNG disclaims any and all liability in connection with, arising out of, or related to, any such use of the product.
SAMSUNG's warranty does not cover products which, for example, have been received improperly packaged, altered, or physically damaged, as further described in the list below. Products must be inspected upon receipt. You can refer to a non-exhaustive list of examples of the warranty limitations below.
- Improperly packaged or shipped, including the use of non-qualified shipping containers
- Any alterations, modifications, or physical damage to the product
- Any alterations, modifications, or removal of any SAMSUNG labels on the product
- Tampered with or missing tape seals or serial numbers
- Abuse, mishandling, improper installation, operation or maintenance
- Cosmetic damage to outer surface / finishing and external parts of the Product, including without limitation cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior casing
It is your responsibility to secure and / or back up remove any programs, data or other material stored in the Product. You must also delete any confidential / personal information contained in the Product before handing over the Product for repair. Samsung assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, destruction, alteration or failure to maintain confidentiality of programs, data, information or other material left in the product, howsoever caused, whether during servicing of the product, through use of synchronisation software for the product, or otherwise.
Warranty service may not be provided unless the product is returned to an authorised return centre in the region of Your purchase. You hereby acknowledge and agree that each region may have regional specific warranty implications that may change the terms and conditions of this Agreement in its specific application to You.
